Enhancing social and health care educators’ competence in digital pedagogy: A pilot study of educational intervention

The purpose of this pilot study was to explore connection an educational intervention on the competence health care educators and educator candidates (n=11) in digital pedagogy as a part national TerOpe project. An intervention, Basics Digital Pedagogy developed by project’s experts. participating were recruited from universities university applied sciences, which involved All participants interventions invited take study. conducted during spring 2019. Pre- post-tests implemented digitally using Educators’ Educator Candidates’ Competence self-assessment instrument (OODI), for OODI includes 32 items divided six areas professional engagement, resources, teaching learning, assessment, empowering learners facilitating learners’ competence. data analysed statistically. self-assessed level overall all increased statistically significantly intervention. used seems increase educators’ pedagogy.
